I am not sure but I am looking forward to Fall:-)! To the bounty of what this season has to offer. To more rain in the Pacific Northwest skies (yes, please!). To celebrating Fall with friends and family!
And last, but not least, to carrying on with my talks at the Portland Chinese Garden. "Practical Steps to Better Digestion" talks are back, by popular demand. Once again, we will gather in the beautiful venue of Lan Su. To play with the elemental framework to get us to focus on practical take-aways for better digestive health and energy.
If you have never been to Lan Su, one of Portland's best hidden treasures, come in for a double treat because the talks are free with garden admission.
And if summer left you feeling a bit tired and "entertained out," this is the perfect timing for a fresh start. While I love to "Spring cleanse," I enjoy to "Fall refresh" even more.
The arrival of Fall gently reminds me that it is time to focus inward more now that my out-of-town family visits are winding down and my kids are going back to school. For me, It is time to breathe deeper and to examine my needs with better focus. Which, naturally, involves focusing on digestion. As one of my mentors, Andrea Nakayama says, "everything begins in the gut." So, let's pay some well deserved attention to our digestive health.
This year, the talks start up right after Labor Day.
I cannot think of a better timing for this Fall Refresh. Please come to hang out and learn helpful tips to take home today for better digestion. Bring your questions or just come to listen and get inspired to take good care of yourself. You deserve it.
We are starting next Tuesday, September 6th, at noon. Starting with, you guessed it, my favorite element. Water! Here is the link to the four-week series.
I can't wait to see you!
