And can I ask you a very direct question: did your pee turn pink a few hours after you had the smoothie?
Yes? No? O.k., you don't have to answer it here publicly but please know that if you pee did, in fact, turn pink you may be low on hydrochloric acid. Say WHAT?
Hydrochloric, or commonly known as "stomach," acid is key to a healthy digestion. When it is low, not only are we less likely to absorb key nutrients like B12 and Zinc (chronically tired, caching colds frequently, anyone?) but be susceptible to a whole bunch of health conditions.
Anywhere from skin issues, acid reflux (yes, if you are suffering from reflux you likely have too little stomach acid, not too much) to stomach "flu" or even intestinal parasites.
Or inability to lose weight. Now, how unfair is THAT?
Here is the awesome news: YOU are in charge and there are quite a few simple things you can do to bring back and balance your gut flora and your stomach acid.
That is why I am so excited to tell you about the FREE "Health Gut Summit" starting up next week. February 9th-16th, 2015.
That is where you can learn everything about balancing your hormones and your gut flora, including the critically needed hydrochloric acid. I can't wait to watch and listen to the amazing speakers spearheading this event and I hope you will join me there as well!
See you there! To gut health and hydrochloric acid, Baby!
