She went to her doctor and asked for a "thyroid test" (Smart Mama!). The doctor ran the standard thyroid test and informed her that her "values were a bit low but well in the normal range" and that her "thyroid was just fine."
The Mom sighed and kept on doing what she knew to do best: exercising bright and early before her kids got up and making sure everyone had healthy meals. She just resigned to be tired. And keeping her jacket on because she was still feeling chilly all the time....
And she likely had Hashimoto's
People with Hashimoto’s deal with a collection of confusing, chronic and uncomfortable low-thyroid symptoms that aren’t necessarily resolved with medication, even if you are lucky to get your doctor to diagnose the condition (many still are NOT). That’s because Hashimoto’s affects all systems and the roots link back to your digestive function, your adrenal reserves, your genetic propensity and more.
You can learn to manage your symptoms and thrive with Hashimoto’s but you need the pivotal information from the leaders in the field to take you there!
Hashimoto's is not merely a thyroid disorder.
It's your health. Your life.
