Making delicious breakfasts from scratch can be tough in a busy household. Michelle's recipes were a delight and a breeze to make which made our busy mornings so much more enjoyable!
I have to confess that some of Michelle's breakfast recipes I enjoyed all to myself as they were exactly "what mama needed to start the day off right," such as Blueberry Kale Breakfast Smoothie or Michelle's Mood Booster (simply amazing, thank you so much, Michelle!).
Still, many of her amazing creations I made together with my kids and the entire family was happy to gobble them up for breakfast, lunch and even dinner! The Peanut Butter Pumpkin Pancakes are sure here to stay (we are looking forward to making the batter the night before to make breakfasts even faster on busy school mornings in the Fall!).
The recipes were truly delicious but what I appreciated even more about Michelle's work was her painstaking ability to stay true to her own message: simple ingredients, no shortcuts, and nothing but whole foods, clean and simple.
Michelle also went into trouble of annotating every single recipe in her book to refer to most common food allergens. You will find delicious-to-make treats and staples for your family regardless of whether you are gluten-fee, dairy-free, nut-free, egg-free, vegetarian or vegan (or a combination of).
